Sorry I missed you Saturday. When I returned from riding all weekend in Ocala, I went to put some tack in my tack room and used the new stairs. I had no real sense of why Dad thought they should be lowered, but I noticed it immediately when I went into the tack room. Thank you! Eddie was right, as usual, that I would thank him for an easier step-up, especially when I am carrying heavy stuff. (And I will get older, sometime in the distant future!)
I also wanted to thank you and your crew for all the work. The attention to detail and the effort to keep everything neat and clean as work progressed impressed me greatly.
I am so very pleased with my ‘stable.’ The stalls are now set up with feed bins, hay racks, water and door tie backs. The tack room is ready for lots more horse stuff; my saddle racks are begging for leather! And the paddocks are full of sweet bahia. I have learned so much already.
Now all I need are the horses (and I still want a donkey!), and I should be successful on that front by July.
Dad, too, is pleased with his car storage and the pole barn areas for the tractors. You were also right about the colors; everything blends so well with the house and we now have a compound that is most impressive, especially when the lights are on.
When I can hear my horses neighing as I drive in or walk up, I’ll know that all is right in my world.
Thank you, my friend. We stretched you to the limit with our special needs and questions, but your experience, guidance and recommendations were spot on, and we are so satisfied. You helped two very different people and needs/expectations come together perfectly. Eddie has just finished his ramp, the gutters are in, and he, too, is smiling and ready to live the country life.
I hope you took lots of pictures, ‘cuz we sure have.
You are a good and honorable man, and it was a pleasure to get to know you and the Red Barn Company. Thank you from CR 778 and Two Moon Junction (my stable’s name!).
